Personal coaching for the conversations that shape your career.

Executive Communication Coaching

SOUND FAMILIAR?

You can write a sharp email (even without AI)

You can hold a meeting.

But somewhere — the executive panel, the board update, the high-stakes negotiation, the keynote, the difficult conversation — your communication stops carrying you and starts costing you.

You over-prepare and still under-perform. You walk out replaying what you wished you'd said better, or said at all.

That's the room I do my most useful work in. Whether English is your first language or not.

WHAT THE WORK LOOKS LIKE:

The work is one-to-one. Each session is fifty focused minutes, $75 per session.

We start with a first lesson that's part conversation, part assessment — I get a clear read on how you communicate now, where the gap sits between your intention and your impact, and what's actually getting in the way. From there we build a pathway around your hierarchy of needs.

Cadence shapes itself around your life. Some clients see me once or twice a month for ongoing refinement. Others book intensively in the run-up to a conference, a high-stakes negotiation, a major presentation. The relationship flexes around what's coming.

The work itself is practice-first, not theory-first. We focus on thinking frameworks more than language drills — how you structure an argument under pressure, how you read a room, how you use personality (yours, the room's) to lead a conversation rather than survive it.

MBTI and personality typing show up when they're useful. So does storytelling, persuasion architecture, and the deliberate use of pause. Language refinement happens too — but as a by-product of the real work, not its centre

THE PLATFORM // PREPLY

Preply hosts most of my coaching. The platform handles the calendar, reminders, and billing, and gives us strong AI tools for tracking communication patterns and progress across sessions.

Booking, paying, and turning up all happen there — the work itself is what we do inside it.

THE SHIFT

The over-rehearsing eases. You stop scripting yourself and start trusting that the words will be there. You walk into the room already knowing how you want to land — and you land that way more often than not. The high-stakes conversation stops feeling like performance and starts feeling like calm authority.

Specifically:

Clearer thinking on your feet.

Sharper structure when you speak.

The ability to hold a pause, change direction mid-sentence, recover from an awkward exchange, and bring a room with you when you need to.

IS THIS FOR ME?

This is for you if:

  • You're working in English at a high level — whether English is your first language or not — and you want stronger executive presence in the room.

  • You're senior, or moving into a senior role, and your communication is starting to be looked at differently than it used to be.

  • You've succeeded by being prepared, and you're starting to feel its ceiling.

  • You can name three or four high-stakes situations in your near future where it would genuinely matter if you showed up sharper.

This probably isn't the right fit if:

  • You're at the beginning of your English journey and need foundational language work. That's a different — and excellent — service, but it isn't this one.

  • You want a tutor to drill grammar exercises. The work here sits upstream of that.

  • You're not coachable. Coaching requires that you actually want to be in the room. And that you want to do the work required to exist (in English) diffeerently.

ABOUT CARL:

I've spent years coaching international professionals through the executive communication moments that count — board presentations, leadership transitions, cross-cultural negotiations, the conversations that quietly decide careers.

This is where I do my deepest work, and where most of my current clients live. The same work translates naturally to native English speakers stepping into more visible roles — same methodology, different starting points.

Before this, I spent nineteen years inside finance and wealth management — the rooms I now coach my clients to walk into. I haven't read about the boardroom. I sat in it. That's what I bring.

TWO CHOICES

If you already know you want to work with someone — Book a trial lesson. Fifty minutes, $75, refundable.

We use it to talk, assess, and map a pathway. After that you'll know whether this is right — and so will I.

If you'd rather see where you stand first — Start with the free Communication Diagnostic.

Five minutes. A real read on how you show up at work, and what to work on next.
